About us

Ray and Brett bring decades of hands-on experience in surface repair, focusing on long-term solutions and quality workmanship.
They’ve seen it all and know how to fix it properly.

Ray Jones

Licenced Builder

Ray’s a Marlborough local with deep roots in the building trade, starting out as a qualified joiner before becoming a qualified builder in his hometown. For the past six years, he’s been working as a self-employed builder in Blenheim, focusing mainly on bathroom renovations. Over that time, he noticed a clear need for quality repairs rather than full replacements, especially when a tidy fix could make the damage vanish without the cost of starting again.

Ray brings a practical, cost-effective approach to every job, backed by solid experience and a commitment to finishes that look like the damage was never there.

Brett Burns

Specialist Bathroom Installer
& Acrylic Repair Technician

Brett has spent about 12 years in the building industry, with the last five focused on bathroom and shower installations and full bathroom builds across Marlborough.

Along the way, he saw a clear need for local, reliable repairs to acrylic shower trays, baths, vanities, and benchtops. Rather than clients having to call in out-of-town providers, Brett teamed up with Ray to offer that service here at home.

Brett brings steady experience, solid craftsmanship, and a practical, solutions-first approach to every job, helping lift Marlborough’s options for specialist bathroom and acrylic repairs.
